  • Its true - I had laparoscopic roux-en-y bariatric surgery 3 years ago. I haven't had to take any medication for diabetes or had abnormal blood sugars since the day I left the hospital and I'm 130 pounds lighter.

  • My beloved was terminal and knew it - all he wanted was to come home to be with his family and his pets. The doctors kept painting the "gloom and doom" scenario telling us he'd spend the rest of his life in a nursing home and taking him home was out of the question.
